Happy Birthday <3

TODAY'S MY BIRTHDAY!! Well... last Tuesday was my birthday--but I was too busy to celebrate~ And I'm still too busy to celebrate, but you have to have cake, right? This month is the most stressful month of my life. Too bad my birthday was right in the middle of all the chaos. UC transfer apps are due by the end of this month and I'm still not done with my essays (don't worry, will finish by this weekend). I have 3 midterms next week before Thanksgiving break. I'm so glad golf season is over so I can have more time for these UC apps. Why can't the UC system be like other universities and have their apps due in January? Don't they want to see my wonderful grades from this semester?! hehe... not that wonderful :)

My lovely other half, Sun, brought home my favorite Safeway brand cake. You know, the one with the strawberries packed in the center topped with this strawberry syrup and surrounded by crazy amounts of whip cream???? She also brought California Rolls from her work and some Hot Cheetos cause I've been craving them all day. She was feeling sick all night but was nice enough to pick up these valuable items before coming home. And right when she got home, she went straight to the bathroom and threw up. ew. But I still enjoyed my cake! haha.

It's pretty amazing how fast everything is happening. My 18th birthday still hasn't soaked in and I'm already 20. I've been letting my past few birthdays get by because of school and golf, but I definitely won't let my 21st pass like another day. My present to myself this year was tying for 2nd at State Championships in Ventura this past weekend! Woot woot! I tied with 2 other girls and was only one stroke away from 1st place. But then I lost in the playoff for the 2nd place medal :( But I still tied for 2nd! haha. If I get into UCB, I really hope I have a chance at walking on to their team. I can't believe this season might be the last golf season of my life! Crazy....


But what's even crazier is that after class I slept from 2:30-8:30pm. Talk about a freakin' power nap~

Little Rebecca, Big UC Berkeley

Today was a long day with my two most favorite people: Sun and little Rebecca~ It all started at 5:30 in the AM when Sun and I got up to go to saebyukgido. We went Berkeley right after to pick up Reebs and eat breakfast. She took almost 2 hours to get ready, so Sun and I had to wait in the cold outside of her dorm the whole time.


When she finally came out the grumpy little thing didn't even say sorry. jjashik. We ate breakfast at a little cafe... Look at shy little Rebecca eating her omelet--she was still half asleep telling us stories about people dancing in her calc class.


We ate breakfast, then looked for parking for a good 30 minutes before parking at Hojun oppa's apartment complex. Then we headed to the library to make little Rebecca study for her 2 midterms next week. She didn't study at all and slept the whole time... little jjashik.


After Sun and I studied for 4 hours, and Rebecca slept for 4 hours, we decided to get some bulgogi sandwiches then head for the Cal gift shops. After an hour of looking around gift shops, Sun and I had to leave little Rebecca because Sun had work. Little Rebecca cried and begged for us not to go, and started telling us stories of people dancing in her calc class again but we just kicked her away because there was nothing else we could do. Then Rebecca went back to the library to sleep some more. jjashik.

Studio Tour

It's been about a month since we've moved into this place and it's finally complete ever since Evan, Sam, Kevin and Emmerson came over and moved my couch and TV in (Thanks guys!). The couch was too long to take up the stairs, so the guys decided to tie a rope to it and pull it up to the 3rd floor. It was pretty scary~ haha. But all went well (because backup came--Bohyun and Yoseb obba) and everything's great :D







I love the breakfast bar in the kitchen and how the toilet/bathtub is separate from the sink :)

Sun (my roomy) and I prayed a lot for our new place, and with a lot of detail. God seriously provided everything we asked for: carport parking, a lot of room/ storage room, a big kitchen with a breakfast bar, on site washer & dryer, good location, good price, and quiet building. He provided us with everything. I especially wanted the breakfast bar~ haha. I love this place... it'll suck when we transfer next Fall because we put so much effort into making it perfect . . .

What makes living here even better is that I can eat whatever I want! haha. Evan and Lisa are coming over later and we're gonna eat steak for dinner. I'm definitely a poor college student when it comes to paying rent and tuition... but when it comes to dining, I am very well off :)

I'll be at Nor. Cal Championships this weekend. Wish me luck!
